Welcome to the formal kickoff event of the World Microbiome Partnership
Several relevant actors across the world will meet to discuss microbiome research, innovation, and its role in improving planetary health. Participants will receive an overview of the WMP's structure and initial programming, its positioning in health and environmental policies, its working groups, and its short- to mid-term goals.

The World Microbiome Partnership (WMP) is an international forum, initially established in 2023, that brings together interested parties across the microbiome fields from academia, industry, foundations, civil society and governments. The initiative aims to promote strategic partnerships and harmonize the development of microbiome-based arguments, biomarkers, products, and interventions in the service of human, plant, animal, and planetary health.
Please note that your registration is approved only after receiving a confirmation email. The number of seats at the Academy of Medicine is limited, and we reserve the right to refuse participation to those without confirmation.
